Deze afdichtring past tussen de aftapplug en het aansluitvlak van het ventielblok en zorgt voor een olieafdichting op het aftappunt. De aluminium constructie zorgt ervoor dat de ring bij aanhalen licht vervormt, waardoor deze zich aanpast aan het aansluitvlak. Deze moet elke keer dat de plug wordt verwijderd, worden vervangen om een betrouwbare afdichting bij het terugplaatsen te garanderen.
