Layshaft Shim for the LT77 five-speed manual gearbox, located at the layshaft (countershaft) front cover and bearing.

This is a selective shim used to set the layshaft endfloat and bearing preload during gearbox assembly. It is supplied in graded thicknesses and fitted as required to achieve the correct running clearance. This shim is 1.81 mm thick.
