LR014010 - Lambda Sensor Assembly

The LR014010 is a lambda (oxygen) sensor for the Land Rover Discovery 4 petrol engine. It measures oxygen in the exhaust gas and sends that reading to the engine ECU, which adjusts the fuel mixture. Accurate readings keep fuelling correct and the catalytic converter working efficiently.

The lambda sensor fits into the exhaust system of the Discovery 4 petrol engine, threaded into the exhaust pipe or manifold to sit in the gas flow. These engines use more than one sensor, so check which position yours needs before ordering.

LR014010 is cross-referenced to MHK500840 for the Discovery 4 lambda sensor, so the two numbers refer to the same sensor application. If your old sensor carries either code, this is the matching part. Confirm the connector plug shape against your loom before fitting.

Confirm your vehicle is a Discovery 4 petrol model and check which sensor position you're replacing, since these engines run multiple lambda sensors. Match LR014010 or MHK500840 and compare the connector against your wiring before ordering to get the right sensor and plug.
