Water Pump for the 2.0L Ingenium diesel engine (AJ20D4), part of the engine cooling circuit.

Belt- or chain-driven from the engine, the pump circulates coolant through the cylinder block, head and radiator to carry heat away and hold the engine at its operating temperature. It mounts to the engine front and forms the moving element of the closed-loop cooling system, working with the thermostat and radiator to regulate temperature under load.
