Copper Joint Washer for sealing fluid-carrying connections in the engine and cooling system. The annealed copper construction deforms under clamping load to form a fluid-tight seal at banjo bolt fittings, union bolts, and threaded pipe connections. The washer should be renewed whenever the fitting is disturbed to maintain a reliable seal on reassembly.
