Frequently asked questions

What is the Stay used for?
The Stay is a rear sill support bracket for the right-hand side of the body. It braces the rear sill to the body tub, bolting between the two to stop the lower rear body flexing and to keep it aligned. It fits Series IIA and III 109 inch wheelbase vehicles.
Which Land Rovers does this rear sill stay fit?
This rear sill stay fits Series IIA and Series III Land Rovers built from 1968 to 1984, and only the 109 inch wheelbase versions. It's the right-hand side bracket. Short-wheelbase 88 inch models differ, so check your wheelbase and side before ordering.
Is this stay for the left or right side?
This stay is the right-hand side bracket, fitting the rear sill on the right of the body. The left-hand side typically uses its own handed stay, so make sure you order the correct side. It's specific to the 109 inch wheelbase Series IIA and III body.
