Coolant Temperature Sender is a thermistor-type sensor threaded into the engine coolant circuit that produces a varying electrical resistance in response to coolant temperature changes, driving the dashboard temperature gauge.
Fitted to the 2.25 Petrol 4-Cylinder and 2.6 Petrol 6-Cylinder engines, the sender is located in the cylinder head or water jacket and provides the primary temperature signal to the instrument panel gauge.
