Inspection Cover Plate fitted to the flywheel housing on the Defender 2.5L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engine.

This small pressed-steel plate closes the access aperture in the clutch bell housing, sealing the flywheel cavity from road debris and contamination. It is removed to provide inspection access to the flywheel ring gear and clutch assembly without full transmission removal.
