Front Radius Arm Bushes in black polyurethane, supplied as a set of four for the chassis-side (rear) mounting of the front radius arms.

The bushes press into the radius arm mounting eyes at the chassis end, locating the front axle fore-and-aft under braking and drive loads. Polyurethane is firmer than standard rubber, reducing deflection and sharpening axle location while still allowing suspension articulation.

Frequently asked questions

What do the front radius arm bushes do on a Range Rover Classic?
The front radius arm bushes locate the radius arms where they meet the chassis on the Range Rover Classic, controlling front axle fore-and-aft movement under braking and drive. These are polyurethane, firmer than rubber, so they cut deflection and sharpen axle location while still allowing suspension articulation.
How many bushes come in the set, and is that enough for the job?
This is a set of four polyurethane bushes, which covers the chassis-end mounting of both front radius arms on the Range Rover Classic. That's typically the full quantity for the rear (chassis-side) radius arm bush job. Both arms are usually done together so wear stays even.
Why fit polyurethane radius arm bushes instead of rubber?
Polyurethane radius arm bushes resist deflection better than standard rubber, giving tighter front axle location under braking and load on the Range Rover Classic. They also stand up well to oil and age. The trade-off is a slightly firmer feel, which most owners accept for the sharper handling.
Which Range Rover does this bush set fit?
This set fits the Range Rover Classic (1986-1994) front suspension, at the radius-arm-to-chassis mounting. It's an aftermarket polyurethane set cross-referenced to BR 1093. Confirm your vehicle is a Classic, as later coil-sprung Range Rovers use different radius arm bushes.
