Steering Valve Ring is a PTFE sealing ring used within the rotary valve of the Adwest power steering box.

It seals between the pressure lands of the valve spool, separating the hydraulic feed and return passages so that steering assistance is directed to the correct side of the steering piston. Used in the worm-and-valve power steering box in both heavy-duty and lightweight forms.
