Air Intake Hose for the 2.25 litre diesel engine, forming part of the air induction system between the air cleaner and the intake manifold.
It carries filtered air from the air cleaner outlet to the intake manifold, sealing the induction path so that unfiltered air cannot bypass the filter element. A perished or split hose allows unmetered, dust-laden air into the engine and should be replaced to maintain correct filtration and intake sealing.
