Sealing Washer, a 14mm aluminium crush washer for the sump (oil pan) drain plug, forming the drain-seal element of the engine lubrication system.
Fitted between the drain plug and the sump boss, the soft aluminium washer deforms as the plug is torqued down to form an oil-tight seal, and is renewed each time the plug is removed. The same washer also serves on gearbox and transfer-box drain plugs of matching thread size.
