ANR4331 - Power Steering Hose

The ANR4331 is a high-pressure power steering hose that carries pressurised fluid from the pump to the steering box to provide steering assistance. It's a genuine Land Rover pressure line for left-hand drive applications, forming part of the power steering hydraulic circuit.

ANR4331 is the pressure feed hose, not the low-pressure return line. It carries fluid from the pump outlet to the steering box under full system pressure, so it uses crimped high-pressure unions. The return hose is a separate, lower-pressure part, so check which line you're replacing.

ANR4331 typically fails by leaking at its crimped pressure unions or seeping through the hose wall, which shows as fluid loss under the car, heavy or notchy steering, and a whine from the power steering pump. A pressure feed hose that's weeping under load usually needs replacing rather than repairing.
