Frequently asked questions

What is the AWR6862 mirror glass and what does it do?

The AWR6862 is the replaceable left-hand glass element for the exterior door mirror on the Land Rover Discovery. It seats into the mirror housing on its backing plate, letting you replace cracked or de-silvered glass without renewing the whole mirror. The convex profile gives a wider rearward view.

Which Discovery models does this mirror glass fit?

This mirror glass fits the Land Rover Discovery 1 from 1989 to 1998 (from VIN FA393361) and the Discovery 2 from 1998 to 2004 with driver or passenger power mirror. It's the left-hand (LH) convex glass. Check your mirror type before ordering.

Can I replace just the glass instead of the whole mirror?
