Bonnet - Less Hinges for the Defender Puma era body assembly.
This bonnet panel is taller and wider than the pre-2007 Defender bonnet, with a distinctive raised centre section designed to clear the TDCi engine installation. Supplied without hinges, for use where the existing hinge hardware is being retained. The panel uses the same closure mechanism as the pre-Puma bonnet. Constructed from 100% galvanneal steel and supplied electrostatically primed (E-Coat black), ready for painting.
This bonnet does not require a bonnet insulation pad and is not compatible with bonnet-mounted spare wheel carriers. Due to the slightly wider profile, it may interfere with early-type (pre-2007) wing top protector sets.
