Description:
Vacuum Solenoid Assembly for the heater control system on V8 petrol models.
This electrically operated solenoid valve controls the vacuum supply to the heater and ventilation control actuators. When energised by the heater control switch, it opens the vacuum circuit that operates the air blend and distribution flaps inside the HVAC housing, directing warm or ambient air to the selected vents. A faulty solenoid typically results in loss of heater function or fixed vent positions regardless of the control setting.
