Viscous Coupling for the engine cooling fan, part of the water pump and cooling fan assembly.

This temperature-sensitive coupling (the Torquatrol unit) drives the cooling fan from the water pump pulley. Fan drive engages as under-bonnet temperature rises and slips at higher speeds to reduce drag and noise. Fitted to the 4.2 Litre engine.
