Oil Cooler Kit repairs the engine oil cooler on the Td5 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo-diesel without replacing the complete oil cooler housing assembly.
The Td5 oil cooler is integrated into the oil filter housing and is a common source of oil leaks as the engine ages. This kit renews only the cooler element within the original casting, which is normally still serviceable. It contains the replacement oil cooler together with the housing gasket, banjo bolts and sealing washers required to refit it.
When fitting, inspect the housing around the oil pressure switch, as the casting can be damaged if the switch has previously been overtightened.
