Frequently asked questions

What is the C-post bottom leg repair panel used for?
The C-post bottom leg repair panel is a weld-in body section that replaces the corroded or damaged lower leg of the left-hand C-post, the rearmost body pillar on the Station Wagon body. It reinstates the pillar's original structural shape ready for welding.
Which Land Rovers does the left-hand C-post panel fit?
This left-hand panel fits the Land Rover Defender Station Wagon (up to 2016) and Series 2 and 3 long-wheelbase Station Wagon bodies. It repairs the lower leg of the C-post on the left-hand side of the vehicle.
What's the difference between this panel and DA1354?
This is the left-hand (LH) panel; DA1354 is the matching right-hand (RH) section. They're handed mirror images, so order the side that matches the corroded C-post leg on your vehicle. You only need both if both sides have rusted.
How is the C-post repair panel fitted?
The panel is welded in. It's supplied ready to weld into place once the corroded section is cut out, so it's a bodywork and welding job rather than a bolt-on repair. It typically calls for MIG welding and careful panel alignment.
