What is the DA4733 roof rack floor section?
The DA4733 is a marine plywood load platform that fits into a roof rack frame on the Land Rover Discovery 2. It gives a solid, weather-resistant deck for roof-mounted cargo. The dual-level panel comes with stainless steel and galvanised mounting hardware.
Which roof rack does the floor section fit?
The DA4733 fits only the Safety Devices DA4732 roof rack frame. It's cut and drilled to that frame's dimensions, so it won't sit correctly on other racks. If you don't already have the DA4732 rack on your Discovery 2, you'll need that frame for the floor to fit.
Do I need the DA4733 floor section?
The DA4733 floor turns the open DA4732 rack into a flat deck, which stops smaller items falling through the frame and spreads the load. On a Discovery 2 it's useful for carrying boxes, tools or camping gear. Without it, the rack only suits larger items that bridge the bars.
