Main Bearing Set for the crankshaft of the 2.7L V6 diesel engine, supplied at 0.020 in undersize.

The main bearings are the plain shell bearings that seat in the cylinder block main bearing saddles and the main bearing caps. They support and locate the crankshaft and provide the running surface for its main journals.

The 0.020 in undersize grade is matched to a crankshaft whose main journals have been reground 0.020 in below standard diameter. The set supplies the upper and lower bearing shells for the crankshaft main journals.
