Cylinder Head Assembly for the 2.5L 300 TDi turbocharged diesel engine - the upper closure of the combustion chambers, carrying the valve seats, guides and ports and sealing the oil and coolant passages against the cylinder block.

Supplied as a complete assembly with the valves and valve springs already fitted, ready to install onto the block. This is the earlier head design, which uses the fibre-type cylinder head gasket.

The ERR5027COM is a complete cylinder head assembly for the 2.5L 300TDi turbo diesel. It closes the combustion chambers and comes with valves and valve springs already fitted, ready to bolt onto the block.
What is included and what else will I need?
This head is supplied assembled with valves and springs, so you don't need to transfer them from the old head. You'll still need a head gasket set, and to reuse or renew the rocker gear, injectors and manifolds.
Which head gasket type does this use?
This is the earlier 300TDi head design that takes the fibre-type cylinder head gasket. Confirm your engine runs the fibre gasket rather than the later multi-layer steel type before fitting, as the two are not interchangeable.
How do I confirm this fits my 300TDi?
It fits Defender 300TDi, Discovery 1 300TDi EGR (Gem) from VIN FA393361 to WA799999 and up to MA081992, and Range Rover Classic 300TDi from VIN JA610294. Check your VIN to match the correct 300TDi head.
