ESR4234 - Turbo Hose – To Turbocharger – Td5

The Turbo Hose ducts filtered intake air from the air cleaner to the turbocharger inlet on the Td5 2.5L five-cylinder turbo diesel. It forms part of the air cleaner assembly on the induction side of the turbo.

This turbo hose fits the Td5 2.5L five-cylinder diesel, used in the Defender and the Discovery 2 (1998-2004). It connects the air cleaner to the turbocharger, so confirm your engine is the Td5 before ordering.

Td5 turbo hoses typically fail when the rubber perishes or splits at the ends, letting unfiltered air or boost escape and causing lost power or a whistle. On the Defender and Discovery 2 Td5, oil misting from the breather usually softens the hose over time.
