Gearchange E-Clip for the automatic transmission gearchange linkage.

This external E-clip seats in a machined groove on a pivot or clevis pin to hold the connected selector-linkage components in axial location. It is a small spring-steel retaining clip fitted to automatic transmission gearchange applications, and is also supplied as part of the gearchange service kit.
