Mainshaft Gear for the LT230 transfer box - the 28-tooth input gear driven by the output shaft of the R380 five-speed manual gearbox.
It carries drive from the gearbox into the transfer box, where the high and low range gears and the centre differential distribute torque to the front and rear propshafts. The gear is matched to the gearbox mainshaft and the two are normally renewed together.
