Timing Chain Kit for the timing drive of the AJ133 5.0L V8 petrol engine (naturally aspirated and supercharged) and the AJ126 3.0L V6 supercharged petrol engine.

The timing drive sits at the front of the engine and maintains the fixed relationship between crankshaft and camshafts. Chain guides locate each chain run and the hydraulic tensioners take up the slack that develops as the chains wear; a stretched chain or a worn guide lets the valve timing drift out of specification.

The kit comprises the timing chains, chain guides, chain tensioners and sprockets.
