Radius Arm Pair - 3 Degree Caster Correction for the front suspension radius arm assembly on coil-sprung Land Rovers fitted with a 25-75 mm (1-3 inch) suspension lift.

Lifting the suspension changes the geometry of the front radius arms, reducing the caster angle below specification. This causes imprecise steering return and a loss of self-centring on the road. These arms introduce a 3-degree angular correction that restores the designed caster angle at the lifted ride height, allowing the front axle to travel through its full articulation range and the steering to self-centre correctly.

Finished with a zinc passivation treatment and a heavy-duty powder coating. Sold as a pair.

Frequently asked questions

What are the 3-degree radius arms for?
The 3-degree radius arms restore front suspension caster on coil-sprung Land Rovers fitted with a lift kit. They apply a 3-degree angular correction to the front radius arm geometry, bringing the caster angle back to specification at the raised ride height.
When do I need caster correction radius arms?
Caster correction is typically needed once a suspension lift of around 25-75mm (1 to 3 inch) is fitted, which reduces the front caster below spec. That loss causes vague steering and poor self-centring; these arms recover the designed caster so the steering returns properly.
Are the radius arms sold as a pair?
Yes, the radius arms are supplied as a pair, covering both sides of the front axle on the Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic. Both arms are replaced together so the caster correction is even across the axle.
What bush width do these radius arms use?
These radius arms use the narrow 38mm bush. Land Rover front radius arms were made in more than one bush width, so check which width your chassis mounts and axle take before ordering to make sure the bushes seat correctly.
