Gearbox Bearing Kit for the LT77 five-speed manual gearbox, suffix A to E.

Used when overhauling the gearbox. The bearings locate and support the input shaft, mainshaft and layshaft within the gearbox casing, holding shaft alignment and setting the running clearances of the gear train. Worn bearings show up as whine that changes with gear selection, or as end float in the shafts.

The LT77 changed internally through its production life and bearing specification differs between suffix ranges. Check the suffix letter stamped on the gearbox before ordering.
