Low Ratio Detection Switch - the transfer box range-detection switch, mounted on the front housing of the transfer box.
It senses whether the transfer box is engaged in high or low ratio and signals the selected range to the vehicle, driving the dashboard low-range indicator. A plunger-type switch actuated by the range-selection mechanism.
