Transfer Drive Case O-Ring is a sealing ring fitted at a mating joint of the transfer case drive assembly. Seated in its groove, it forms a static seal that retains the transfer case lubricant and keeps dirt and moisture out of the joint.

O-rings are single-use; renew whenever the joint is disturbed to restore a reliable seal.

Frequently asked questions

What does the transfer drive case O-Ring do on a Range Rover L322?
It seals a mating joint on the transfer case drive assembly of the Range Rover L322. Sitting in its groove, it forms a static seal that keeps transfer case lubricant in and dirt and moisture out of the joint. Land Rover fitted it to L322 models from 2002 to 2009.
How do I confirm this O-Ring fits my Range Rover?
This O-Ring fits the Range Rover L322 from 2002 to 2009 with the 5-speed Steptronic automatic, covering the M57 3.0 diesel and M62 4.4 V8 petrol. Use your VIN to confirm the transfer case variant before ordering.
Can the transfer drive case O-Ring be reused?
No, this O-Ring is single-use. Once the joint has been disturbed the ring takes a compression set and won't reseal reliably. Fit a new one whenever you separate the transfer case drive joint to stop lubricant weeping from the seam.
