Auxiliary Water Pump - electric coolant circulation pump for the fuel-fired booster heater circuit.

The pump draws coolant through the fuel-burning heater's heat exchanger and delivers it onward to the cabin heater matrix, so heat is available while the engine is still cold or switched off. It is controlled by the heater unit and runs only while that heater is active.

It is plumbed into a dedicated branch of the coolant circuit and works alongside the engine-driven water pump, not in place of it.
