Front suspension bump stop - part of the front strut and coil spring assembly.

The moulded rubber bump stop is fitted over the strut piston rod, beneath the upper mounting. It limits front suspension travel on compression, absorbing the end of the damper stroke progressively and preventing the strut from bottoming out.

Two are fitted per vehicle, one at each front corner. Applies to vehicles built without adaptive or magnetic damping.
