Inlet Manifold Gasket - seals the joint between the inlet manifold and the cylinder head on the 3.2L DOHC MPI petrol inline-six.

The gasket maintains an airtight seal at each inlet port so that all induction air passes through the throttle body and is measured by the engine management system. A failed gasket admits unmetered air into the port, giving a lean mixture, unstable idle and associated fuelling fault codes.

Supplied individually - one gasket per inlet port, six per engine.

Frequently asked questions

What is the LR001454 inlet manifold gasket for?
The LR001454 inlet manifold gasket seals the inlet manifold to the cylinder head on the Freelander 2 (2006-2014) 3.2L petrol I6. It maintains an airtight seal so the engine draws a clean intake charge. OEM REINZ part.
How many inlet manifold gaskets are needed for the 3.2 I6?
Six LR001454 gaskets are used per vehicle on the 3.2L petrol I6, one per intake port. If you're removing the manifold, order the full set of six so every port gets a fresh seal rather than reusing old ones.
Where is this gasket located?
This gasket sits between the inlet manifold and the cylinder head on the 3.2L DOHC MPI petrol I6. It's reached once the manifold is unbolted, typically during intake or injector work.
Should these gaskets be replaced whenever the manifold is off?
Yes, replace all six LR001454 gaskets any time the inlet manifold is removed on the 3.2L petrol Freelander 2. Old gaskets can leak and cause a vacuum leak or rough running, so a full set is standard practice.
