Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor fitted to the intake manifold of the 3.2L DOHC MPI I6 petrol engine.

It measures the absolute pressure inside the intake manifold and relays the reading to the engine control module, which uses the signal to calculate engine load and set the fuelling and ignition timing.
