Axle Case Seal - Front seals the front axle case (final drive housing) around the driveshaft where it passes through the case.

It retains the differential lubricant and keeps dirt and water out of the axle. A hardened, cut or worn lip lets oil weep from the axle case, so the seal is replaced when the driveshaft is disturbed or an oil leak appears at the front axle.
