Inlet Manifold Gasket for the 4.4L AJ-V8 petrol engine, sealing the joint between the inlet manifold and the cylinder head port face.

The gasket maintains the seal of the induction tract, preventing unmetered air entering downstream of the throttle and ensuring the manifold delivers the intended air charge to each cylinder. One gasket is used per cylinder, so eight are required to reseal a complete manifold.

Fitting new gaskets is normal practice whenever the inlet manifold is disturbed.
