Engine Oil Pan (sump) for the 2.4L and 2.2L Duratorq TDCi diesel engine - Engine Block and Lubrication assembly group.

Bolts to the underside of the cylinder block to close off the bottom end and form the engine oil reservoir, from which the oil pump draws through the pick-up pipe. It seals against the block face and against the front cover at the joint faces.

Normally renewed after impact damage, corrosion, or distortion of the sealing flange.
