Exhaust Pressure Sensor - diesel particulate filter pressure sensor in the exhaust after-treatment system of the 2.2L 16V turbocharged diesel (DW12).

It connects to the exhaust through small-bore pressure pipes and measures exhaust gas pressure at the diesel particulate filter. The engine management module uses that signal to work out how much soot the filter is holding and to decide when a regeneration cycle is required.

A sensor that has failed, or pressure pipes that have blocked or split, typically show as a stored particulate-filter pressure fault, a regeneration that will not complete, and a warning lamp.
