Radiator for the engine cooling system of the 4.2L V8 supercharged petrol engine.

The main coolant-to-air heat exchanger, mounted in the cooling pack at the front of the vehicle. Coolant leaving the engine passes through the core, where heat is transferred to the air drawn through the matrix by ram air and by the cooling fan, before returning to the water pump inlet.

Replacement is normally called for after core corrosion, impact or stone damage, or a leaking end tank or seam. After fitting, the cooling system must be refilled with the correct coolant and bled to the specified procedure so that no air remains trapped in the circuit.
