Turbocharger mounting stud for the 2.4L Duratorq TDCi and 2.2L 16V TC diesel engines.

The stud screws into the mounting face and locates the turbocharger, which is then clamped down with a nut. Studs in this position run through repeated heat cycles and are frequently seized or stretched by the time the turbocharger is removed, so they are commonly renewed as part of a turbocharger replacement.
