Frequently asked questions

What is the LR010418 brake calliper and what does it do?
The LR010418 is the rear left-hand brake calliper for the Range Rover L322. It carries the hydraulic piston that clamps the brake pads onto the rear disc, producing braking force at the left rear wheel. This is the Genuine Land Rover part.
Which Range Rover L322 models does this rear LH calliper fit?
This rear left-hand calliper fits the Range Rover L322 with solid discs, in the less armoured (non-armoured) variant, up to VIN 5A999999. Check your VIN before ordering, as armoured variants and later L322 builds use a different calliper.
What are the signs a rear brake calliper needs replacing?
Signs include a seized or sticking piston, fluid weeping at the calliper body, the rear brake dragging, or uneven rear pad wear. On the Range Rover L322 a seized rear calliper typically makes the rear braking pull to one side. Replace it to restore balanced braking.
Is there a core charge on this calliper?
Yes, a 75 euro deposit (statiegeld) applies and the old calliper must be returned. The deposit is refunded once your original rear left calliper is sent back. Keep the old part for return when you fit the replacement.
