O-Ring for the oil pump inlet tube, part of the oil pump, sump and filter assembly.

It seals the joint at the oil pump inlet (pick-up) tube, keeping the suction side of the lubrication circuit airtight so the pump draws oil from the sump without drawing in air. Used on the 5.0L AJ133 V8 petrol engine, naturally aspirated and supercharged, and on the 3.0L supercharged V6 petrol engine.

Renew whenever the sump or the oil pump inlet tube is disturbed.
