Radiator Hose - lower coolant hose in the engine cooling circuit of the 5.0L supercharged V8 petrol engine, running from the radiator outlet to the thermostat housing.

It returns cooled coolant leaving the radiator to the thermostat and water pump inlet, completing the return leg of the main cooling loop. The hose is moulded to shape with integral bends so it clears surrounding engine bay components without kinking; the profile is not interchangeable with the upper hose.

Rubber cooling hoses harden and craze with age and heat cycling. Inspect the hose ends and clamp faces for softening or swelling whenever the cooling system is drained.
