Inlet Manifold Air Duct is the moulded elbow that routes charge air into the inlet manifold on the 3.6 litre V8 32V DOHC Td8 diesel engine.

It joins the charge air pipework to the manifold inlet and seals the pressurised intake path downstream of the intercooler. The duct is a moulded plastic component working in a hot underbonnet position; it hardens and cracks with heat cycling, and a split lets boost pressure escape, which normally presents as reduced power together with a boost pressure fault.

Specific to the 3.6 Td8 V8 diesel intake arrangement - it does not interchange with the V6 diesel or petrol installations.
