It serves the low-temperature charge-air cooling circuit, dissipating heat from the coolant that passes through the supercharger intercooler. It works alongside the main engine radiator rather than replacing it. Fitted to supercharged petrol engines: the 3.0L supercharged V6 and the 5.0L supercharged V8 (AJ133).
