Brake Disc - Rear - Wavy CDG is a rear brake disc with a wavy (scalloped) outer profile and cross-drilled, grooved friction faces. It replaces the standard disc in the rear disc brake assembly.

The disc mounts to the rear hub and rotates between the caliper's brake pads. The drillings and grooves vent gas, dust and water from the pad-to-disc interface and help the disc shed heat, while the wavy outer profile reduces rotating mass and increases the edge area available for cooling.

Discs should be renewed as an axle set, with new pads fitted at the same time.
