Valve Cover Gasket seals the joint between the camshaft cover and the cylinder head on the 2.0L 16V turbocharged petrol engine.

It forms the oil-tight seal around the top of the cylinder head, containing the oil that lubricates the camshafts and valve gear and preventing leaks at the cover flange. It is renewed whenever the camshaft cover is removed.
