Brake Disc - Vented - Front is the front-axle rotor of the disc brake assembly, clamped by the front caliper and its pads to slow the wheel.

The internally vented casting draws cooling air between its two friction faces to shed heat during sustained or repeated braking, and a protective coating guards the non-swept surfaces against corrosion. Fitted on V6 turbo diesel and V8 petrol applications.
