Thermostat for the engine cooling system on the 3.0L 24V DOHC V6 turbo diesel engine.

It regulates coolant flow between the engine and radiator, staying closed while the engine warms to operating temperature and opening as coolant temperature rises to allow flow through the radiator and hold the correct running temperature.
