Crankshaft Trigger Wheel for the engine timing and crankshaft position system. The trigger wheel (reluctor ring) mounts on the crankshaft and provides the toothed reference pattern read by the crankshaft position sensor.

The sensor reads the tooth pattern to determine crankshaft angle and rotational speed, which the engine management system uses to control fuel injection and ignition timing. Fitted to the 3.0L V6 and 4.4L V8 diesel engines.
